Our sweet Ellie passed away from this life into the arms of the Lord Jesus Wednesday afternoon.

The pneumonia she had developed proved to be too much for her weakened immune system.  We are grateful to have been able to enjoy her on this earth and spend our Christmas together. We look forward to “flying away” to meet her one day ~ as she is whole and healed in heaven.

We will be meeting with the funeral home tomorrow to discuss arrangements and will announce them here as soon as they are finalized.

We are thankful for the support and love that each of you has shown to our family as we have walked through this over the past three months. Our grief is real, but so is our joy in having such a blessing in Ellie.

I will be sure to post more details as soon as I can.

Love to each of you~

We will continue to pray as a family each and every day as the Lord helps you grieve and heal from your great loss. Ellie Louise’s short little life on this earth has been such a blessing for so many people! She made a lasting impact on doctors, nurses, friends, and friends of friends…we never got the privilege of meeting her here on earth, but feel like we know her just from reading your amazing blogs and seeing her beautiful pictures with each post! Your family’s faith and trust in our Lord and Saviour throughout this entire process has been amazing to watch! May God bless you on this earth until you “fly away” to be reunited with your precious, sweet Ellie Louise!
