On our way to Charleston!

on November 5, 2012

Thank you all as you continue to walk with us on this journey! Please pray with us today as we look forward to what God is doing in little Ellie’s life. We are excited about taking her for the placement of the G-Tube and can’t wait to show her off without the NG Tube!

Here are our prayer requests for today ~ We are thankful as you lift her up before the throne of grace with us ~

  • That we would safely arrive in Charleston at MUSC.
  • That all of the team of doctors will be well and ready for each of Ellie’ surgeries (click here for the previous post explaining: https://sensiblemom.wordpress.com/2012/10/30/surgery-will-be-thursday-november-1st-please-pray/).
  • Please pray for skill for the doctors.
  • That Ellie would be comfortable.
  • For our family to trust the Lord completely in this whole surgery situation.
  • That Ellie would immediately be able to breathe on her own when she comes off the vent.
  • That her body would heal quickly from the surgeries.
  • That none of us would get sick from being at the hospital.
  • That we would be able to manage the g-tube well.
  • That the other children will do well at the homes where they are staying.
  • For us to place our trust in the Lord above all else.
  • That she will not have an ongoing problem with reflux in her kidney.
  • That she would be able to swallow on her own and learn to eat on her own.
  • That she would grow strong.
  • That she would continue to gain weight.
  • For Chris and I to be a good testimony of Christ’s grace in our lives to the hospital staff.
  • For Chris’ appointment with his doctor for his elbow to go well.
