Safely Home

on October 4, 2012

We arrived safely in Beaufort yesterday in the late afternoon. There was a bustle of activity as the good folks at Graybar Fence made a repair on our side gate. We walked into a house which had been scrubbed clean by friends,  and soon after the hospice nurses came to check Ellie into their care.  So thankful for all of these needs being met:)

Today we go to see the pediatrician for Ellie as well as sick visits for the other kids. Two of them were seen by the doctor yesterday and have strep and in an unrelated incident one also has a fractured toe.

It was hard to trust God with Ellie overnight, as we tried to watch her to make sure she did not reflux. But His grace was sufficient and all three of us were able to see the joy that comes in the morning.

Our prayers remain from yesterday, and we are glad to be home.
