A sweet poem that a friend wrote:

Little Ellie
So sweet and so gay
Came for Christmas
And then did fly away.
How we will miss you,
Our sweet little princess.
We shall never forget you
And the gifts you have brought us.
We don’t understand
Why you had to go,
But our Lord called you home
And it had to be so.
Your breathing unlabored,
Your heart beats at peace,
What joy you must have;
Can’t wait ’til we meet.
Forever changed
Our lives all shall be
As you remain alive
With God and our memories.
We love you, sweet Ellie.
Now, go play in the sun.
We will meet again
When the day here is done.
You remain safe
In our Lord Jesus’ care.
Remember that soon
We all will be there.
We love you, Ellie!
We will never forget you.

Beautiful!!
Yes:)
How big her smile must be as the Son warms her face! What a lovely poem to help us envision her there…it must be beautiful….
I think so too.
What a beautiful poem – seems to say everything that should be said! Such a perfect tribute to God’s sweet little princess! She will be missed by all – until we meet again!
What a beautiful poem -gave me goosebumps. I think about Ellie and your family everyday. You gave her such a beautiful life – your faith is truly inspiring.
Thank you Kerri
