Only a couple more weeks until school starts. Must. Get. Ready.
I have bought all the curriculum. I have read a bunch of books. I have scheduled classes.
Now I need to pray.
That God would help me to settle down in the mornings and work hard.
That I would give each child what he/she needs and be open for a change in my plans.
When I need to push harder and when I need to back off.
That God would help me to teach them His Word and tht they would grow spiritually.

Well, we have completed our first 2 weeks! This is my busiest year ever, with 6 formal students, plus a busy 2 yr old boy and a 4 yr old girl who is determined to do all her kindergarten work this yr.
Our mornings are a mix of chaos and orderliness. It is chaos trying to get everybody situated, and then orderly as we proceed with our lessons.
A funny story-I actually had a child thank God last week for the Saxon Math book. I had to laugh…my older kids used to pray for God to strike that book with lightning or something terrible like that! LOL!!
