Angels rejoicing!

Last night our 5 (almost 6) year old became a Christian! Brant-Fowler June

I cannot tell you how excited we are!

This comes after struggling over a serious sin issue with him that was sooooo frustrating. But I kept telling myself that it was for a purpose.

And it was.

I thank You Lord for giving my son salvation. Thank you also for showing my complete need for You.

Are you struggling with your children right now? Do you feel like that they will never get it?

Spend time seeking God’s help in their area of struggle and also His help to give you a heart to see what they really need… Him. His forgiveness. His restoration.

Our children’s sin is not an inconvenience. It is the way they see their need for the Savior.

I believe it is also His way of showing us our shortcomings. We can never make their lives or our lives perfect enough. We need His grace to live out our lives.

Have you come to this conclusion too? I would love to hear your thoughts.

He really looks like Zachariah in this picture.

  3. Yay! Doing a rejoicing dance!

  4. Congratulations. It is funny that I so profoundly remember the moment that Autumn accepted Christ but there was no “moment” with Hannah. She just always believed. No questions, no discussion. The faith of a child.
WE cannot make them good. We can’t even make ourselves good. We can pretend we are good, but only God can cleanse us. Even then we take up our cross daily.
I love you! Thanks for being my ever-present good example (no pressure!) LOL.
